At Northwest Gun Supply we are dedicated to providing the highest quality firearm at the lowest possible price. We attempt to provide a product that is as close to the original as possible as well as 922r compliant. We attempt to be as accurate as possible on our descriptions. However, due to the collectible nature of many of our items, it can be difficult to correctly distinguish the markings of many gun parts. Many parts have details that are specific to model/year/manufacturer. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with suggestions or comments.

FIREARMS FINISH

John Norrell Moly Resin will hold up against all solvents and other cleaning agents. Norrell moly resin is representative of the true finish on an original factory produced Kalashnikov. There is no warranty on the finish applied to NGS produced firearms. We at Northwest Gun Supply try to reproduce each AK to the original specifications, including the finish. What this means is the finish will wear over time. The firearm finish (ie. moly resin) is a finish that may chip or flake on the corners and edges of metal surfaces. Given that firearms are made of steel, metal on metal contact will scratch the finish of the rifle. Any military surplus Kalashnikov will have a worn, scratched, chipped, or flaked finish. If you are looking for a finish that will not do this, you will need to make arrangements for the firearm to be finished in an alternative form of coating. Due to our companies' principle goal
of AK originality, we currently utilize only John Norrell moly resin as a finish.

SUPPRESSORS
Northwest Gun Supply understands and embraces the evolving world in the firearm industry and appreciates the engineering and investment made by those daily. Northwest Gun Supply works tirelessly to provide shooters with high quality firearms that can withstand the rigors of combat but reminds owners that modifications to the firearms manufactured by NGS can potentially void the warranty on the firearm.
A customer may request certain items be installed on firearms such as a muzzle device intended for attachment and use of a suppressor. Northwest Gun Supply takes great care to ensure all threads are concentric and true on our barrels, in addition to any and all muzzle attachments. Firearms manufactured by Northwest Gun Supply are not built nor tuned for use with suppressors. Northwest Gun Supply will install a muzzle device intended for suppressor use, but accepts no responsibility if any damage is inflicted on the firearm or suppressor. As a reminder, use a wooden dowel to ensure proper bore alignment prior to use of any suppressor, regardless of platform.
